Well maybe you don't but it's true, I photograph lots of lovely boudoir ladies at my studio which is just 10 minutes drive  (or 20 mins on the metro) from the city centre.

The thing about boudoir photography is that it's all about you, yes if you have an other half well then I'm sure they'll be more than happy with the results but ladies this really is your shoot, just for you, showcasing you at your awesome best.

I've never photographed a boudoir session where ladies didn't end up loving the whole experience, yes everyone feels a little nervous at first but soon you'll be doing diva poses and rocking the whole shoot.
