Epilogue?

You know I hate it when you regularly read someones blog and then they don't update for ages but I fear I have become that person, I also hate it when someone tires of blogging and you're left hanging by a thread, in some cases actually wondering if that person has actually ceased to exist. I think the time has come for me to move on from this blog, simply because I don't have the time I used to, My Wedding and Portrait photography business have just taken off a million times quicker than I ever dreamed and from what I can see I can only get busier. I guess then this is goodbye. I'm not deleting my blog you'll understand because I really want it to exist for my children to read when they're older so that they know how their mum came to be the person she is and has the successful business she always wanted.

I guess it's good to end on success and you know, I don't intend to disappear entirely, in all probability there will be a new blog but I expect it will mainly be for business purposes. Life sure is busy...

Yep, can't beleive how quickly life can turn on it's head, at the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous pair of baby feet, oh and the rest of him is just as scrumptious, I really had a lot of fun with this wee man, and his family!

Today I shot (in the photographic sense of the word) another gorgeous boy with the biggest blue eyes you have ever seen. He's such a poppet and even though he wasn't keen to be the star of some photos for mummy I managed to bribe him with some lollies and he was good as gold! If you want to see more of either of my wee stars feel free to click on my website, you may even want to book yourself in, I'll warn you now, I am pretty much booked for the next couple of weekends, I have a shoot on Saturday and then next weekend I have an Asian wedding which takes up the whole weekend and the Sunday of the weekend after, oh yes as I stated earlier, I sure am busy!!!

Business Plans.....

Oh gosh yes, thats what I've spent the last couple of days doing in between booking even more weddings and events, I've spent this afternoon discussing weddings whilst trying to get to grips with a profit and loss account and a cashflow projection which I need to give to my bank manager, hopefully very soon and then with any luck I'll be the proud owner of that EOS Canon 1D-mk 3, exceedingly expensive piece of kit but totally awesome, plus I need a collection of glass to go with it but the bank seem to think it shouldn't be a problem so I'm quietly excited about it. I spoke to a fabulous client earlier today who wants to book me for an asian wedding taking place over 3 days, I'm meeting him on Monday and it promises to be a very thrilling wedding and only 2 weeks away, I have clients to meet in the morning who are getting married next year and then Sunday I have 2 more sets of clients to meet, then I have some I'm meeting during the week, Phew are you tired yet because I am!!

It's a funny feeling to have achieved success at last, never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be doing so well and having so much fun. I guess that I owe it all to Karma, oh and a little hard work!

Karate for Abigail tommorrow night and then Saturday she has tennis and football, Iain also has a class, SAQ, then we're off to Amble to take gorgeous photos of beautiful Antonia and her new baby brother Joseph, really really looking forward to that as I haven't seen Vicky for ages and it will be nice to catch up, relax but also to get a little work in at the same time!!

I plan to squeeze in sleeping sometime in the next 5 years!!

It's not very often I manage to get them all in one place looking happy, looks like the 7th day of the 7th month of the 7th year was lucky lucky lucky for me!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

It's Official, I have the busiest life in the world!!

More weddings are booked and it's looking like me schedule for the next 12 months is going to be completely fabulous if somewhat manic!!

Just want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to ma buddy Sarah and her BF Matt who've just announced that they're going to get officially engaged in October, of course I've offered them an engagement shoot and if I'm really lucky I might just get to do her wedding which would be a total honour as she and Matt are a really cute couple who have the sweetest story to tell.

Also had some great news yesterday which is going to see us considerably better off from August, great just in time for Iain and Loobys birthday, Looby who will be celebrating her 4th birthday wants a Pink Nintendo DS and a Dora game to go with it!!! Iain, I think will be in line for a Wii!

Just been chilling out at the beach this evening after a very busy day it has to be said!! Had lots of fun and took a smidgeon of photos, hopefully I can get those processed and share some tommorrow, too late now as I've just realised that my camera is in the car and with that, I shall go and get it!!

When I Began Blogging....

I never thought there would come a day where I actually hadn't blogged for a week, 1 year and a half later and life really has become so very busy that I haven't been able to squeeze it in! We've had a week of ups and downs, We've had chicken Pops, Wedding photography bookings, portrait bookings galore and Paul has been working hard gardening for what sometimes seems like the whole north east! LOL, and if we weren't doing all of that then you could probably find us at the David Lloyd club!

Speaking of which, I had a health and fitness induction yesterday afternoon and oh my I've put on nearly 2 stone since last May, this came as a bit of a shock but I spoke to my personal trainer and expressed my wishes to be thin, fit and fabulous by the start of the 2008 wedding season and that doesn't seem to be a problem! I'm going to atleast make the effort to do the gym workout a couple of times a week and in between I expect we'll be doing a fair bit of swimming anyway!!

I have around 3ish portrait bookings on this week, I say ish because a couple still have to confirm exact times and dates but never the less I am completely looking forward to all of them!!
