With my mother at the moment, I can't really go into the details but since I have started therapy it's getting increasingly more difficult for me hold back when I speak to her, she's done so much damage. I wouldn't have half the battle scars that I carry if it weren't for her.
Some random thought :-
I may blog later if I can calm myself down a little.
I really hope that my children never feel this way towards me.
Therapy has made me see clearly for the first time ever.
Just because your job is creative and mostly online doesn't mean it's not real.
Just because I don't work in a bank anymore doesn't make me a failure.
I really hated working in the bank, I used to cry every night for probably 3 of the 6 years.
I thank God every day for my wonderful hubby (and I'm not even that religious)
Because of my hubby I can atlast stand up to my mother, together we are an unbeatable army.

Anger can be a positive force in that it gives you the strength to stand up to those who would demean or abuse you emotionally.
all the best
Getting angry is one thing but getting angry and shoting it all at her is another. If you find yourself doing the latter a lot, you need to talk it over with your therapist.
When you argue and shout due to anger rather than calmly discuss and talk, nothing that is said by either party gets thru to either party.
You don't want to end up havingto do an anger managmenet course too because things go too far the other way.
As for yhour job being mainly online, you say you work in New Media darhling.
Since you have a therapist, why not let all this anger out with him/her where it can be dealt with in a constructive, not destructive way.
Unloading all of that on your mother may make you feel better at the moment, but you still have to deal with her afterwards ... talk about difficult.
The scrap page is adorable, by the way. Yes, you are artistic!
I voted for you on BLOG VILLAGE!
