Oh my, it really was a sad moment in our house when series 2 of Dr Who finally ended, I can't remember the last time I was so choked up watching Sci-Fi, well actually I can it was the finale of the last ever series of Quantum leap where Sam had the choice to go on but he chose to spend eternity leaping from life to life.....
Anyway more on Dr Who, It was the ultimate of battles between the Cyber men and the Dhaleks and some of the lines where the Dhaleks and cybermen argued were hilarious. It was classic TV but I can honestly say that Roses departure from the series was the saddest thing I have watched for an eternity, I can feel the emotion welling up in me as I write this. I don't want togive too much away as I know that some of my readers are in the US and haven't yet got to the end of series 1 but lets just say that Russell T Davies vision was that Dr Who was about the future and about Life and hope not about death and misery so expect to have heart strings tugged to within an inch of their lives but to go away feeling saddened but hopefull, of course theres always torchwood to come which promises to be a goody as well and how could it not with another divine man in the shape of John Barrowman, sadly he doesn't bat for my team but he's still tasty enough to look at! LOL
I'll miss my weekly dose of the doctor, my drool over david, ah yes I think David tennant has been the definitive doctor for me, the best since Peter Davidson a long long time ago. Once a Whoey, always a Whoey!!
